Sell your aviation photos with PhotoStore from ktools.net

I’ve been taking photos of airliners since 1999, and one of the things that bugged me the most about this hobby is that the entrepreneur in me felt like it was a huge waste of time. I enjoy it today as much as I did back then, but this has typically been a hobby that I kept all to myself. Sure, it has satisfied a creative itch, but I felt like I wasn’t accomplishing anything productive. Then I began to think…

I’ve had great success selling my stock 3d illustrations over the years, primarily because I took control of my work and launched my own store. I had submitted my illustrations to stock photo agencies for years, but over time, the commissions became smaller and smaller and I was selling less and less. That’s just not fair, so I took matters into my own hands and purchased a copy of PhotoStore from ktools.net so I could sell my images on my own terms. It was probably the best thing I ever did for my entrepreneurial career so far. Why couldn’t I do the same thing with my aviation photography?

Now I’m not much of a web developer, as the sight of a really basic php string is enough to send me running. I don’t have the patience for that kind of crap, so I was very hesitant to purchase a ready-made photo store, install it myself, and get it working.

And you know what? It was incredibly easy to get up and running – it took perhaps 5 minutes tops. The instructions are easy enough for a total internet newb to follow, and I didn’t have any problems along the way. But even if that isn’t enough to convince you, they do offer free installation with every new purchase. You can’t beat that.

If you’re reading this blog, I’m willing to bet that you have a few of your own aviation photos or illustrations that you want to show off. Do yourself a favor – launch your own store, and profit from your hobby! Even if you think your images aren’t good enough, you may be surprised. I’ve sold thousands of dollars worth of images over the years that I personally wasn’t even sure I wanted to sell in the first place.

Anyway, check out the ktools website to play with a live demo. I think you’ll like what you see.
